PROGRAMS
DINNER MEETINGS
About once a month, the AIAA Los Angeles
Section hosts a dinner with a distinguished speaker from the
aerospace industry or an associated field. The meetings are
generally held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6pm at
the LAX Crown Plaza Hotel. Reservations must be in by the Monday
of the week the dinner meeting is held, or at least two days
prior, so please RSVP early to be sure you can attend! For the

PRE-COLLEGE OUTREACH
The greater Los Angeles education system needs our support to encourage the young engineers of tomorrow to learn math and science. We provide an array of activities, including in-classroom demonstrations and science curriculum with a hands-on approach. Dean Davis, Chair of Pre-College outreach, has been instrumental in leading this effort across the Greater Los Angeles Area. TECHNICAL GROUPS
Our technical chairs are active in the technical aerospace profession, and seek to foster interchange of ideas and local excellence in the technical disciplines through meetings, events, and conferences. EDUCATION
As part of our local effort to provide mentorship, and reward outstanding young acheivers in aerospace, our education initiatives seek to offer our professional resources in Los Angeles to the local educational centers such as UCLA, USC, UCLB, and others. We sponsor several educational activities, and provide our own scholarships to local students for collegiate level support. To make sure students continue to succeed as they begin a career, we hold career workshops multiple times per year.
